Presented by BlueCross BlueShield of TN Its a FUNdraiser! The Latino Memphis Festival has grown tremendously thanks to the support of our 901 familia. This vibrant festival is also one of our biggest fundraisers.
Event Details
We are committed to bringing quality talent to the 901 and are asking for your support to bring an authentic cultural experience to the Bluff City.
We are requesting a $5 suggested donation at the festival entrance on May 13th. No one will be turned away if they are unable to donate. With your support we can continue serving local families while putting on one of the most colorful and inclusive festivals in the 901.
Memphis in May & Latino Memphis have partnered to salute Colombia both at the Memphis in May International Festival & the Latino Memphis Festival.
The Latino Memphis Festival is a high-energy outdoor fiesta. Get ready to party Colombian style! There’s something for Memphians of all ages. We’ll have Colombian cuisine, arts & crafts, kids’ activities, action-packed interactive soccer demonstrations, salsa dancing classes for adults and kids, an outdoor marketplace featuring shopping for all things local, and opportunities to get involved with organizations in the Bluff City.
Those wanting to get in a little exercise before heading to food trucks and food vendors can join a morning run for unity at the Fiesta 5K. Local runners, walkers, families and even furry friends from all walks of life and will come together at the Fiesta 5K to celebrate the diversity that builds our city.
If you enjoy cooking and a little competition, register for the Salsa-Making Championship for your chance to have Choose901 choose your recipe as the best salsa in the 901!
World-Class Performances Not to be Missed
Memphians will enjoy cultural performances and Colombian rhythms on and off the stage like Colombian Folkloric Ballet of Houston, Cali Salsa Pal Mundo, the 2017 World Salsa Summit Champions, and Futboleros who will present a high-energy freestyle soccer show!
