WHAT: 16th Annual Gibson Guitar 5K Run-Walk for St. Patrick Community Outreach, Inc.
WHEN: 7 o'clock, Saturday evening, June 10, 2017
WHERE: Starting at Beale & 2nd Street, ending at Gibson Guitar Factory, site of post-race rooftop party
WHY: To support the many nutrition programs of St. Patrick Community Outreach, Inc., a 501 © 3 nonprofit agency focused on serving at-risk people in 38126, Memphis' lowest income zip code.
COST: Pre-register $25 (MRTC Members receive $1 discount). Day of Race: $30
WHAT YOU GET: A 2017 Commemorative Gibson 5K shirt, entry into our 21st annual 5K race and post-race rooftop party at Gibson Guitar Factory and the knowledge you have helped a worthy cause!
EVENT DESCRIPTION: The Gibson 5K rocks down Beale, Riverside Dr. & ends at Gibson Guitar where a spectacular post-race party will be held on the factory rooftop.
POST-RACE PARTY: The Living Daylights will have you dancing the night away with plenty of refreshments. It's the official start of Downtown summer fun!
WHAT'S NEW: 1) We're switching to a "technical shirt” this year with a great new logo designed by Ronnie Lewis of Bluff City Sports. (See separate e-mail with graphic) 2) We've changed the name of our charity from St. Patrick Learning Center, Inc. to St. Patrick Community Outreach, Inc., Deacon Eugene Champion, Executive Director, (901) 488-3541. We've turned our education ministry over to St. Patrick School and now focus on feeding programs for the hungry. 3)
