In 2014, the late Chef Gary Williams of DeJavu Restaurant began hosting Chef's Extraordinaire "Taste Around the World" Benefit Dinner & Silent Auction to benefit Heal the Hood Foundation of Memphis (HTH).
Event Details
Since then, we have had an amazing crowd of support. Chef Gary's purpose of the benefit dinner was to raise funds for our community efforts to engage our youth and young adults in developing positive social behaviors and to become effective leaders.
As we continue with what he started 5 years ago, we need your help and support. We are asking that you mark your calendars and join us Saturday, October 19, 2019at 3:00 pm inside the Hickory Ridge Mall - Community Room.
Be prepared to taste a variety of foods and desserts from Chefs around the Memphis and Mid-South area, live music and performances.
