Description
The best barbecue is that which is steeped in tradition, much like that of Captain John's. Originally opened as Coleman's BBQ in 1973, the name may have changed, but the way of doing things has stayed the same. When the restaurant was purchased by Ron and Linda Johnson over 20 years ago, they continued the old style pit-smoking their customers had to love. Now operated by their son, Shane: a trip to Captain John's is a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of Collierville today.
