ANNOUNCING AUDITIONS for DREAMGIRLS
When:
Sunday December 17 starting at 1pm (With invite only Callbacks on Monday December 18 starting at 6pm).
**Please Note – These auditions will be held through specific appointment time slots. To make an appointment for a time slot between the hours of 1pm and 8pm, please email courtney@playhouseonthesquare.org. Please specify what time block you’re interested in.**
Where:
Playhouse on the Square, 66 S. Cooper Street, Register in the Main Lobby.
Casting:
African-American singers, actors, and dancers who are 18+ to comprise the Principal Cast and Ensemble. ALL roles are open and available.
What to Prepare – Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Preferably soul/R&B/pop but Musical Theatre songs are acceptable as well. You may sing from the show if auditioning for a specific role.
Dreamgirls is directed and choreographed by Jordan Nichols and Travis Bradley and Music Directed by Nathan McHenry.
Rehearsals begin May 8, 2018 and run June 15 – July 8, 2018.
